Background: 
Initially, ALPPS was thought to be performed in extended liver surgery, carried out as trisectorectomies. As our data show there are almost 50% of patients that were operated as classic hemihepatectomy with the help of ALPPS procedures.
Objectives: 
Our hypothesis that we would like to investigate is if ALPPS hemihepetectomy is different to ALPPS trisectorectomy with regards to sFLR, morbidity and mortality.
